HARDWOOD FLOOR REFINISHING

Refinishing hardwood floors requires careful preparation and professional execution, but the results can bring new life to a well-worn floor.

We perform a multi-stage sanding process to remove existing coatings and reveal the bare natural wood and at the same time provide a clean and smooth surface. While sanding can remove most water marks and deep stains, some staining particularly from water damage, will penetrate deep into the wood and cannot be removed. After sanding, the floor is stained with a high-quality wood stain at the color of your choice then is protected with multiple layers of polyurethane sealer. Complete the floor rehabilitation with freshly painted baseboards or add quarter round trim if your baseboards are not perfectly flush with the finished floor.
